One lasting result of the COVID-19 pandemic is the continued use of technology such as Zoom and WebEx to allow County officials to conduct business and share these open meetings more widely. Technology has the great potential to increase not only community awareness of vital civic matters but to enable wider participation in discussions affecting our communities.
Alameda County Board of Supervisors holds regular meetings and community members can attend in person at 1221 Oak St, Fifth Floor, Rm 512 or virtually using these teleconferencing guidelines. Those wishing to speak during a BOS meeting may participate through public comment on agenda items as outlined in each meeting agenda.

The Castro Valley Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) generally convenes for 2 Land Use meetings and 1 General Purpose meeting per month.

The East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) holds regular meetings and updates regulations regarding park and trail closures and use of dog parks at https://www.ebparks.org.
