The Alameda County Board of Supervisors meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday with a closed session, during which negotiations about the O.Co Stadium between the County and the Oakland Raiders with be discussed.
The Regular Session, where the public may watch and comment on agenda items, is scheduled to start at 10:45 a.m. Items on the agenda include:
- Recommendation to authorize the Sheriff to accept a $267,952 grant from the United States Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs under the “Solving Cold Cases with DNA” program.
- Recommendation to add directional signs for BayFair Center on pre-existing public signs surrounding the shopping center.

Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) Board of Supervisors

The CVSan Board of Directors meets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Highlights of the agenda include:
- Swearing-in of Melody Appleton and Ralph Johnson into office as CVSan Directors.
- “Continued discussion on solid waste services to the ‘Canyonlands’ areas.”

Eden Area Livability Initiative Governance Working Group

The EALI Governance Working Group meets from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to “begin finding ways to give the unincorporated area more control over local government decisions and practices.”
