California State Senate District 10 Candidate Statements

Castro Valley is entirely within the borders of district 10 of the California State Senate. Castro Valley Matters reached out to each California state senate candidate for the 2014 General Election, asking them:
Unincorporated communities don’t have a seat at the table in Sacramento, whereas cities and counties have organizations that advocate for their interests. As an unincorporated community, Castro Valley faces significant challenges in advocating for its interests and securing public investment in infrastructure and services.
