“Art in the Park” …our newest way to participate in the arts in Castro Valley

Art in the Park
1st Tuesdays of each month
5:30 – 7:30pm
In partnership with Castro Valley Street Eats Adobe Art Center hosts free art activities at 20395 San Miguel Ave, Castro Valley, CA

The Castro Valley Eden Area Chamber of Commerce and the Food Truck Mafia are back with Castro Valley Street Eats and this year the delicious events happen in Adobe Park, every Tuesday 5-9pm, through November.

Adobe Park is a great place for your evening out, with grassy field, picnic tables, playground, skate park, bocce courts and our art center. Hayward Area Recreation & Park District is supporting a variety of activities in Adobe Park to go along with Castro Valley Street Eats including monthly Bouncy Houses, and our Art in the Park events on the first Tuesday of each month.

Starting May 2, after noshing on some delicious dinner in the park, try some free art activities and see some art exhibits. Our very first Art in the Park will include free art activities with Art Instructor Mary Hughes, and Artist and Adobe Gallery Director Leah Virsik. Art Exhibit and reception in the Gladding Gallery will feature Acrylic and Oil paintings by students in Azar Veghefi’s class.

Come join the art activities on the patio at the Adobe Art Center!

Fantastic! Thank you so much Jason for working toward making art much more accessible to the Castro Valley community. Adobe Art Center is one of our greatest local gems and it’s heartening to see the increased outreach. Looking forward to the first Art in the Park tomorrow.
