Castro Valley Matters will be live-blogging the event here and broadcasting the audio of the meeting live on our Mixlr page. We’ll also be updating our  Facebook and Twitter feeds. You can follow and join in on the conversation on social media at #MACmtg.

On Wednesday, Supervisor Nate Miley’s office confirmed that Mark Peterson withdrew from the interview process. There are now two candidates for the open MAC seat: Michael Baldwin and Linda Tangren.

On Thursday night,  members of Miley’s staff, his community cabinet, and the Chair and Vice Chair of the MAC will ask Baldwin and Tangren questions that will inform Miley as he decides which candidate to nominate and seek approval from the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to serve a four-year-term on the MAC.
