Castro Valley Sanitary District Board of Directors Candidate Statements

Governance

We reached out to the five candidates for Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) Board of Directors (Melody Appleton, Marc Crawford, Ralph Johnson, John Maher, and Kunio Okui), asking them to provide us with a candidate statement. Our specific request of them was:

In your commentary, please identify one or more issues that are currently affecting CVSan, and tell us how you will respond if elected. Please keep your submittal to no more than 700 words, and of course please refrain from personal attacks against other candidates or the current board. We will include a link to your campaign web site if you provide us with one.
